This Ghouls Holiday Wish List 2013

So there are a few things that have caught my eye this holiday season that I am dying to have! Who knows if I will actually get them as gifts or if I will end up buying them for myself, we shall see. I will put a link for the more obscure items in the descriptions. So without further ado, my holiday wish list for 2013!

1. Now, this item just tickles me to no end. Not only is it practical, but it is kitschy and horrifying! This item is a beanie with the carpet pattern at The Overlook Hotel in The Shining! Unfortunately, it is sold out at the Connoisseur website. Hopefully it comes back soon!

2. As a lover of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, it should come to no surprise that I have a mug on my list. Not just any mug, though.... a sugar skull mug. This one is available on eBay. There are several variations all over the internet, this is just one I liked.

3. Recently I discovered Red Bubble. This is a site where artists can have their work put on shirts, hoodies, and stickers. Sooooo naturally I searched for John Waters and Divine. I found this gem of a baseball tee with a quote from the film Serial Mom.

4. And this lovely hoodie is also a Red Bubble item featuring another John Waters film, Female Trouble!

5. This is something you can find at most places that sell dvds as well as on-line. Yes, I want the Bewitched Box Set!!!!

6. Of course I am adding a book to my wish list! This month I am dying to read Night Film by Marisha Pessl.

"On a damp October night, beautiful young Ashley Cordova is found dead in an abandoned warehouse in lower Manhattan. Though her death is ruled a suicide, veteran investigative journalist Scott McGrath suspects otherwise. As he probes the strange circumstances surrounding Ashley’s life and death, McGrath comes face-to-face with the legacy of her father: the legendary, reclusive cult-horror-film director Stanislas Cordova—a man who hasn’t been seen in public for more than thirty years.

For McGrath, another death connected to this seemingly cursed family dynasty seems more than just a coincidence. Though much has been written about Cordova’s dark and unsettling films, very little is known about the man himself. Driven by revenge, curiosity, and a need for the truth, McGrath, with the aid of two strangers, is drawn deeper and deeper into Cordova’s eerie, hypnotic world.

The last time he got close to exposing the director, McGrath lost his marriage and his career. This time he might lose even more."

7. And last, but not least, I want a new cover for my Samsung Note 2. This one I found on Etsy at a shop called Pocketcase.

I hope you liked my wish list and that if you needed an idea for that gore whore or kitsch bitch in your life... that this list helped.

As always, Stay sweet and twisted,

Sara, AGBF
