So far this holiday season hasn't gone without a few bumps in the road. I have been working my usual week day shifts at a book store and doing Etsy things in my spare time. I have also been restocking shops that carry my items as well. Between those three things, Christmas shopping, and trying to keep up with friends... well, let's just say cleaning and laundry have not been on my to do list! I have been trying my gosh darndest to hit the gym every week, and this was actually the first week in months that I wasn't able to do that. Tomorrow is another day, what can I say... plus the night is still young. We'll see what happens.
I think the biggest bump was one of my cats had to have emergency surgery. She had an infection that required attention asap. Luckily she is doing better and is getting her sutures out tomorrow! Poor kitty only weighs 5 pounds and looked like she had swallowed a softball. It turns out she had a common uteral infection and when the doctor removed her uterus it weighed 7 pounds, 2 pounds more than she does! I can't believe how much I have cried over this cat. Lord knows I can never have children if I get this mentally and physically exhausted over a cat.
Now that my cat is better, my shopping and restocking are almost done, I have many things on my task list that I would like to start chiseling away at. I want to work more with my team The Etsy Massacre. I became a team leader with this group and one of my biggest plans is to continue working on The Teams Facebook Page. This team features artists that specialize in horror. You will find art, jewelry, clothes, and even some special fx props and make up.
As far as my shop goes, I am looking to start adding more fun and kitschy items to the stock. I am going through a massive phase where I am in love with anything and everything brass, wood, or acrylic. So keep an eye out for that.
As far as my blog goes, I want to get back into my normal groove of making posts every week. I want to restart my FEARce Five posts, do more interviews, and get back into my horror trivia groove. Interviews are a love hate relationship. I enjoy making up an interview and getting to know people, but I don't always have people respond to my questions and I get stuck doing all of this work for nothing. It's hard to stay motivated when people don't what they say they will. Anyways....
If you would like to get more horror in your life or what to know what I am up to, the best way to cyber stalk a ghoul is to find me on Twitter: @aghoulsbestfrnd or instagram: AGHOULSBESTFRIEND #AGBF
Also, I am less than 10 sales away from hitting my 500th! When I hit 500 sales I will be having a fun giveaway. More details to come. You must be a Facebook Fan to participate in the giveaway. Anyone who has liked my Facebook page is in the running for the giveaway! You can find my FB fan page here.
I think that is all for now. I will be posting a holiday wish list tonight, so keep a look out for that.
Until next time, Stay sweet and twisted,
Sara, AGBF
