Keeping Up with the Ghoul

Greetings and salutations my darlings! It has been a while since I have made any posts and I just wanted to have a quick and dirty little session to let everyone know what has been going on with my shop, work, and life in general. I have been one busy ghoul who is in dire need of some R&R to say the least! In fact, I am writing this post while wearing a clay face mask and vegging out in front of the tv with an episode of Teen Wolf blaring in the background. Life is sweet.

First off, some shop talk! This past weekend was Hon Fest. I vended all weekend on The Avenue in Hampden, buried deep in beehive updos, flamingos, and Bohs! It was awesome... not that Hon Fest is ever a disappointment, but it was better than I could have hoped for. The weather was beautiful, the people were friendly, and people were just eating up my handmade goods. I tested out some new items at Hon Fest that did really well and I hope to have some new stuff listed once I do a double check of all of my inventory.

As far as blog news, I have sent out a few interviews for featured shop posts, but with it being summer and vacation season, I am not too sure when I will have any fun new shops to tell everyone about. However, I am still addicted to Netflix and I have been seeing movies left and right, so keep an eye out for some reviews. On top of that, I will be posting some book reviews as well. I am still working on trying to have my first Ghoul Talk post and with my sister under my roof, I may finally be able to kick this off!

This past week I celebrated my 28th birthday! It has been a week and a half of celebration starting with a VIP drag show featuring Willam, Detox, and Vicky Vox! It was amazing and a half. Meet and greet, tons of pics, lots of one on one time, a show, dancing with strangers, and the night ended with a trip to a 24/sev diner. Life was good. Then I spent Friday thru Sunday in Hampden and Sunday ended with some of the best sushi I have ever had! Monday was my big day and it was lovely. I slept in and got presents... what isn't there to like? Tuesday I went with my sister and her kids to see my father and had a nice day there. Wednesday I celebrated with my friend, Krys and saw The Purge... a review to come! And tomorrow will end my bday extravaganza with lunch with the in-laws.

What can I say... it has been a great month so far and it is only going to get better! So make sure you stay tuned to find out my sweet and twisted thoughts.

xoxo, Sara
